Player Bios
Erin Stephenson
Erin started with the Ravens in our first season. She showed up to the first practice with mismatched hockey equipment collected from various friends, family members and neighbours. From the first time she hit the ice she was “hooked”. Erin continued to play in our house league right up to this year where she played on our Midget Houseleague Team #3.
Erin is an active in many varsity sports at Waterloo Collegiate Institute including track and field, field hockey, and swimming. She also participated in the 24 hour Relay for Life and the 24 hour Fast for Freedom.
Erin feels that hockey taught her about success and failure in life. It helped her to learn how to manage her time and taught her how to interact well with many different personalities.
In the words of one of her coaches, “Every time Erin went out on the ice-even though she wasn’t the best player, she always worked hard and gave her all. I am glad to have had the opportunity to coach this outstanding young woman” (Ron Daum)
In the Fall, Erin will be attending the University of Guelph and she will be enrolled in Honours Major Bio-Medical Science Program.
On behalf of the scholarship committee, I am happy to award Erin with one of our Ravens Scholarships.
